JAKS is principally engaged in water supply construction and manufacturing of mild steel pipes. We are also active in infrastructure construction projects, land development and international and domestic trading of construction-related products.

Founded in 1987 by Datuk Ang Ken Seng, the JAKS group commenced operations as a water supply contractor for projects ranging from reservoir construction, to water reticulation works and pipe laying works. Gaining extensive expertise over the years, we evolved into a design-and-build water management organisation.

In 1992, we expanded into pipe manufacturing to complement our pipe laying and other water-related businesses. The group’s growth accelerated in 2001 when JAKS entered into a joint venture with Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB), a Selangor Government enterprise, to supply pipes and fittings to the Selangor State Government.
